Chris Bright is a West Point graduate and experienced leader with deep geopolitical experience and a proven track record of success in business.  After graduating from the US Military Academy, Chris was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army as an Engineer Officer.  A decorated veteran, Chris was also the Grizzly Award winner for 2000 which recognized him as the top company-grade engineer officer in the entire active duty Army.  During his service, Chris gained valuable experience as a geopolitical strategist and diplomat, representing American interests overseas and working directly with combatants, non-governmental organizations and allied countries to secure important agreements that helped foster economic development and stability in the Balkan region.

In Bosnia, Chris led important missions ranging from working with victims of the Srebenica genocide to assist them in rebuilding their economies to conducting patrols along the infamous “Sniper Alley” to maintain peace and stability as part of the NATO peacekeeping forces.  On a separate deployment to Kosovo, Chris brought enemies together and negotiated a deal between the Albanians and Serbs in Pasjane, Kosovo to work together on the construction of a destroyed bridge.  He also planned, resourced and oversaw the rebuilding and restocking of several schools across that country with an eye toward building a lasting peace.  Chris was also a part of Operation Bright Star in 1999 which was one of the largest joint military operations in history outside of WWI and WWII that involved 11 nations and 70,000 personnel.

In 2021, Chris was recalled back to military service and was assigned as a Civil Affairs Team leader within Special Operations Command South stationed in Homestead, Florida.  During that assignment he completed a series of airborne jumps on to both land and water targets.

Chris’ military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army commendation Medal, Three Army Achievement Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the NATO Medal, the Kosovo Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.  Chris is also an Army Paratrooper and has earned the Army parachutist badge.

In 2004, Chris transitioned out of the Army and earned a Master’s Degree in Public Policy, graduating with a perfect GPA from the University of Missouri, and subsequently went on to earn an MBA from M.I.T. where he studied under the likes of Jack Welch and Warren Buffett.

Over the next 17 years, Chris built a successful career as a business executive.  He has led $800M business units within Fortune 100 companies, as well as served as CEO for multiple private equity backed companies.  His recognition includes being named the 2017 Best New CEO (Mid-Market Tier) by Finance Monthly and the “2018 CEO of the Year” by the Snow and Ice Management Association.  In 2023, the company Chris founded and built from scratch was recognized by Inc. Magazine as the #1 Fastest Growing Private Company in New Hampshire and the 411th Fastest Growing company in the United States.  Lastly, one of the company’s he led was named to Maine’s Best Places to Work List for the first time in company history while under Chris’ leadership.

Fed up with career politicians of both parties who always seem to put partisan gamesmanship above America’s best interests, Chris is now running to represent New Hampshire’s First Congressional District in Congress where he will cut through the partisan wrangling with his “Make Mission” attitude and fighting spirit honed in the military and utilized throughout his impressive life.

Chris will stand up to the open borders crowd and work to close our border to illegal immigration. He’ll fight against a bloated bureaucracy and out-of-control spending that fueled runaway inflation and hammered struggling New Hampshire families. He’ll support law enforcement and get tough on criminals who terrorize our streets.  And he’ll always – ALWAYS - put country first.
